Overview:
The Sales Manager will champion and train the sales process for a growing division utilizing proven methods of implementation and skills developed over the years to close sales. This position requires a passion for Selling, Training, Coaching and being able to lead by example while meeting service levels. Prior experience is needed in teaching Residential Service Technicians how to close large sales throughout multiple trades.

Responsibilities:
What Will I Do?

- Lead by example how to sell residential HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), Plumbing, and Electrical systems.
- Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
- Able to understand and manage financing processes for the Department.
- Increase market penetration within assigned georgraphy and/or vertical market by securing new customers and expanding the scope of products and services purchased by the exisitng customer base at key, target, managed, and maintained owner account.
- Develop sales training materials for use within HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical departments.
- Create and lead sales classes with groups of 12-15 Technicians.
- Recruit, train, and retain Sales Technicians.
- Motivate, manage, and discipline Technicians.
- Review and Approve Technician time and payroll.
- Manage key financial objectives (gross profit, operating profit, etc.).
- Address customer complaints related to field operations.
- Oversee all subcontract charges and material charges.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and a high level of pipeline management.
- Record sales leads, contacts, referrals, future opportunities, follow-ups, key names and addresses.
- Any other duties as required by management team.
Qualifications:
Do I have What it Takes?

- Bachelor’s Degree or combination of education and experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of documentable “high energy” sales experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience training HVAC Technicians to sell residential HVAC systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Commercial HVAC experience a plus.
- NATE certification a plus.
- Knowledge of fleet dispatch and logistics a plus.
- Knowledge of Service Finance and other platforms
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, extraverted, tactful, organized, results and goal-oriented professional
- Service Titan is a plus
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with basic dispatch software.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
