OVERVIEW:
LMS HVAC Service Technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC systems utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatic and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding and brazing and mechanical layouts.
HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for servicing product and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems
· Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer's location.
· Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
· Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.
· Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
· Represents company by serving as a direct customer contact.
· Determines parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need.
· Keeps current all manufacturers products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
· Provides technical support to customers.
· Regular travel requirements with occasional overnight travel.
· Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
· Be knowledgeable with the products and services offered by LMS and become effective in the sales of those products and services.
· Maintain and submit time recap sheets and service reports for accurate time accounting using proper labor codes to assist in labor utilization and manpower planning.
· Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role (5-8 years experience)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems and equipment repair
- Ability to work independently in the field servicing various HVAC systems
- Familiarity with commercial equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.30 - $30.47 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
