A local & respected company in the Trade's industry is seeking a motivated & skilled individual for a management role for our HVAC/Plumbing Installation team. The Install Manager is primarily responsible for the supervision and coordination of all Installation projects and technicians.
Location: Honolulu, Hawaii (Candidate Must be willing to relocate within 30-60 days)
The Install Manager will play a pivotal role in the team's success by overseeing the Installation team. Fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence within the install team is the goal. Your leadership will drive operational efficiency, optimize workflows, and ensure we exceed service level expectations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Delegation of all installation activities including but not limited to hiring, conducting team meetings, and evaluating team performance.
- Ability to review scheduling and delegate effectively and efficiently in a way that best utilizes manpower for the install teams.
- Daily check ins with techs and team members to ensure they are set up for success.
- Knowledgeable on how to teach sales and new techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service; be able to communicate with customers, office staff, sales department, and field help.
- Properly and efficiently document all calls/jobs to the company's requirements
- Stay up to date on current technologies and new products in the field
- The Installation Manager facilitates and performs quality and safety inspections on new Installations. Troubleshoot, and resolve installation and start-up issues.
- Provide consistent and accurate feedback, encouragement, support, professional development, and coaching to Installation Technicians.
- The Installation Manager will partner with service, dispatch, warehouse, and other necessary departments to ensure timely and accurate service to customers in accordance with company standards and procedures.
- Follow up and resolve escalated customer disputes/complaints, ensuring an effective and long-term resolution and provide daily feedback to Operations Manager.
- Plan, forecast, and coordinate Installations. Communicate clear goals and expectations to Installation Technicians.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years in team management, installation or trade experience

Pay Transparency:
The starting average rate for this opportunity is $80k-$140K. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. - Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time.
