Requirements:
Leadership & Management:
- Provide visionary leadership to all hotel staff, fostering a culture of excellence, trust, and teamwork.
- Ensure all team members are aligned with the hotel's mission and vision, promoting culture through a balance of soft and hard skills.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee daily hotel operations, including sales, finance, front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
- Maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness throughout the property.
Financial Performance:
- Develop and manage the hotel’s budget, including forecasting and financial planning.
- Work with the Revenue management team to implement strategies to maximize revenue and achieve financial targets.
- Analyze financial performance and take corrective actions as necessary.
Guest Experience:
- Ensure exceptional guest service and satisfaction by addressing guest needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Implement and monitor guest feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service delivery.
Team Development:
- Work with the HR team to recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring ongoing professional growth and development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
Sales & Marketing:
- Work with the Sales team to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to attract and retain guests.
- Build and maintain relationships with key business partners, travel agents, and corporate clients.
Community Engagement:
- Represent the hotel in the local community, building strong relationships with local businesses and organizations.
- Participate in community events and initiatives to enhance the hotel’s reputation and visibility.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.· Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive hotel management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and economic performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to drive guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the hotel for extended periods.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and e performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field; MBA or a preferred.
