Our client is a private equity backed and rapidly scaling Software company and market leaders in their space. They have a full suite of products to optimize operational efficiency and elevate customer satisfaction.
As they continue growing, they are looking for a Senior Director of Consumer Marketing. This person will lead the consumer Marketplace business. They will be responsible for developing our overall brand and online presence, efficiently growing organic and paid demand, leading website conversion, and contributing significantly to the overall growth of the company.

- Identify and understand target audience and markets, set goals.
- Oversee the planning, development, and execution of both marketing and promotional campaigns, across all relevant channels (paid, owned and earned).
- Continuously utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to campaign strategies.
- Permanently manage and optimize our marketing budget, including identifying and pursuing incremental ROI-positive opportunities.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing team of digital marketing professionals, ensuring the efficient operation of the function, a healthy team environment and the professional development of all team individuals. Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee technical aspects of SEO, including website structure, crawlability, and mobile optimization.
- Lead our editorial strategy and content optimization efforts, ensuring high-quality, relevant, and SEO-friendly content across digital platforms.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive PPC and broader paid search strategy aligned with business goals.
- Develop and activate ROI-positive campaigns leveraging a broad range of other paid channels across the funnel, enabling incremental growth, including both not limited to paid social, display/video, different offline channels, etc.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Manage and allocate budgets effectively to maximize ROI, working closely with finance teams to ensure cost-effectiveness.
What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in leading both B2C/D2C Paid and SEO teams in a dynamic and competitive industry – with a track record of successful strategy development and implementation.
- Mix of agency and in-house experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Paid campaign platforms, SEO best practices, analytics tools, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Prior experience in (consumer) marketplace businesses.
- Additional experience in Product Marketing is a plus.
