Williams Stoker is looking for an experienced technician to help further our ongoing growth. As a company that has served Chicago's North Side since 1956, we aim to continue building our reputation and providing the best career for our team members. We primarily install and service steam and hot water gas boilers, water heaters, pumps, piping, and control systems in addition to typical HVAC systems. Our ideal candidate has experience in the mechanical HVAC trade, specifically in multi-unit buildings.
HVAC Technician Responsibilities
- Respond and diagnose no heat and no hot water service calls
- Work with High-efficiency commercial equipment
- Commissioning burners and performing combustion analysis
- Wiring commercial equipment
- Service 2+ million BTU commercial equipment
- Wire control systems and configure BAS systems
- Inspect and perform equipment repairs on Boilers, Controls, Pumps, Furnaces, Water Heaters, and A/C's
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
HVAC Technician Qualifications
- 4+ years of previous experience in HVAC
- Experience wiring and commissioning commercial equipment
- Ability to handle physical demands in a safe manner
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Experience working with steam and hydronic systems
