Overview
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Supervisor to lead our team in providing exceptional heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in ammonia refrigeration systems. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage projects, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and deliver high-quality service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of HVAC technicians and service personnel.
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC/R systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices in HVAC service and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of HVAC projects.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding HVAC operations.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex HVAC/R problems as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in HVAC supervision or a similar role is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Proficient in welding techniques related to HVAC/R applications.
- Previous experience as a service technician or mechanic is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites.
- Familiarity with boiler systems is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
