Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Supervisor to oversee our HVAC operations and ensure optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a proven track record in property maintenance and appliance repair. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage field service technicians while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of HVAC technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Build and design HVAC systems tailored to client specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, addressing any issues promptly.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for troubleshooting electrical components within HVAC systems.
- Provide training and guidance to technicians on best practices in installation, repair, and service procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
- Act as a liaison between clients and the service team to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HVAC supervision or a similar leadership role within the field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in building and designing HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in appliance repair and property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with field service operations and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
