Overview:
Under limited supervision, oversees contract projects from initial planning through installation. Responsibilities include coordinating and monitoring equipment, materials, and job site project management.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing all kitchen subcontractors for the project.
- Review and approve submittal drawings before being submitted for approval.
- Review documents and specifications for any foreseeable conflicts.
- Review and produce RFI’s for submittal on any issues.
- Field measure and review of drawings prior to release to manufacturers.
- Review buy out equipment as it is incorporated to fabrication items.
- Mechanical and electrical review of documents with the equipment that we are providing.
- Coordination with general contractor in resolving issues and scheduling.
- Responsible for the everyday items on the project. Close working relationship with the trades, close coordination of work in the field and with the GC.
- Coordinates deliveries and installation of the work.
- Coordinates delivery of kitchen equipment with the site and GC.
- Attends weekly site meetings and provides daily and weekly reports.
- Coordinates with the various other subcontractors on site regarding the kitchen equipment (mechanical/electrical/floor/HVAC contractors).
- Corrects and reports any equipment issues from the manufacturers.
- Quality control of installation by all of our contractors.
- Safety requirements and tool box talks.
- Contact for coordination between the trades and site specific coordination of this contract.
