Automotive franchise is seeking a General Manager to help operate and grow a dealership in the Houston area.
Candidates must possess dealership experience, and the ideal candidate will have a record of success in rural dealerships.
Responsibilities:
- Pay close attention to daily operations, recommending and creating improved courses of action where necessary
- Measure performance daily to ensure goals are being met
- Conduct weekly managers meetings to review performance and improve dealership operations
- Explain the policies and procedures of the dealerships to all employees and follow up with employees to ensure that these issues are understood and followed
- Assist with the hiring of all management positions, completing performance evaluations regularly and developing short and long-term goals for each department manager
- Create cost-effective advertising programs and merchandising strategies for the dealership.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of fixed and variable operation experience
- 2 years of GSM experience
- Strong work ethic
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of automotive laws and regulations
- Understanding of Federal and State labor laws
- Professional appearance
- Current, valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Pass pre-employment testing, including background and drug screen.

Pay: $240,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
