Join our team of detail-oriented HVAC installation technicians. We’re looking for an experienced and professional install technician to help our client’s stay comfortable and healthy indoors. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and installing a variety of HVAC equipment, including indoor air quality, refrigerant, and control systems. You’re comfortable referencing blueprints and manuals to solve complex problems and working with a team to safely and efficiently complete a variety of installations. Compensation:
$25 - $58 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Enter completed projects and the parts used into database
- Tell customers how to properly use their new HVAC equipment
- Arrange and attach electrical wiring according to the wiring diagram using hand tools
- Adhere to all applicable codes, standards, policies, and safety procedures
- Attach pipes or tubing from the fuel, water, or refrigerant source to HVAC equipment
- Water Source Heat Pump systems (Horizontal and Vertical)
- Mechanical yards, Cooling towers (40 to 250+ tons) Boilers, Pumps, VFD’s
- Chillers, Air, and Water Cooled (small to large)
- Piping systems. Condenser water, chill water, hot water, refrigeration, condensate
- Ventilation systems: Conditioned Single pass or 100% outside air (OA), Exhausted Systems (general, environmental, chemical, process)
- All installations, repairs, and maintenance
- 4 Pipe systems. Chill water/Heating hot water. Units, piping systems
- All rooftop package DX and conventional split systems
- VRF or VRV (variable refrigerant system) Heat recovery full installation. (certifications are a bonus)
- VAV (Variable air volume): VAV units, heating hot water systems
- Duct System: Crimp, S&D, TDC, Coated PVS, Stainless Steel
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication
Qualifications:
- Comfortable working in crawl spaces and attics
- We require candidates to have a high school diploma or GED
- Certification or associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school and 2+ years as an HVAC installation technician
- Applicant must have all required local and state appliance HVAC tech licenses
- Working knowledge of low voltage electrical wiring and high voltage connections
