Infinitek Group are working with a company who are continuing to develop and implement HVAC Residential and Commercial Service and Construction Solutions to the Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth market.
Since 2007, they have successfully installed and serviced thousands of quality HVAC systems. Through continuing education opportunities from manufacturers, their staff stay up to date on the latest comfort technology and how to maintain it.
They specialize in repair, installation and maintenance of these systems for large residential and commercial projects.
They are currently looking to hire a CONSTRUCTION MANAGER and will be typically managing teams of 3-4 construction technicians plus up to 12 sub-contractors. You will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in construction projects, ensuring the success of project execution, from planning to completion.
Their HQ is in Fort Worth, TX and they serve clients in and around the Metroplex area and Houston. You will be serving the Houston and Greater Houston area on multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of residential and commercial HVAC construction projects.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring availability and cost efficiency.
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications.
- Resolve any technical or operational issues that arise during project execution.
- Lead and mentor a team of HVAC technicians, installers, and subcontractors, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in HVAC construction management, preferably in both residential and commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, codes, and industry best practices.
- Understanding of safety regulations, including OSHA compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred, but not required based on experience).
- HVAC License or Certification is a plus.
- OSHA 30 Certification is a plus.
