Your role will often take you into hands-on work in a maintenance capacity, while also planning, organizing, directing, and assuring that the overall facility, equipment and grounds are properly maintained for efficient and safe operation. This position is responsible for staff oversight, budget process, and quality assurance measures within the maintenance, housekeeping and laundry departments.
- This is a salaried exempt position with pay from $100,000-$120,000 depending on certification and experience.
- Provides direction and oversight to maintenance staff to ensure understanding of task priorities and timely completion of quality work.
- Supervises and provides guidance to a Housekeeping/Laundry supervisor. Provides high-level oversight for all team members.
- Ensures appropriate staffing levels of department and initiates hiring of new and replacement of staff.
- Performs various equipment and systems tests, inspections and work as required by department, administrative, and local, state and/or federal governing bodies and updates records of same.
- Oversees all facility grounds and property, ensures proper maintenance of security, lighting, landscaping, and safety. Partners with established vendors and independently initiates work as necessary.
- Responsible for rotating on-call duties; providing troubleshooting, guidance and oversight as needed outside of normal scheduled hours, including coming into the building to respond to urgent or emergency situations, as appropriate.
- Collaborates with onsite and corporate leadership teams.
- Training and certification in a relevant field required, Boiler's license, HVAC certification or Electrical certification required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior leadership experience required, 3+ years preferred
- 5 years' experience in a maintenance role required; healthcare setting preferred
- Valid Drivers' License and reliable transportation required.
