We are currently seeking to hire skilled and experienced Commercial Service Plumbing Technicians to join our team at American Mechanical Services. Our operations Management team and even our General Manger began their careers here at AMS as Truck Drivers or Apprentices. It’s truly a testament to the environment created here at AMS.
Responsibilities:
· Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial properties to include:
o Logic and relay style control panels.
o Ground water, sewage, grinder, and cutter ejector pumps.
o Pit level controls.
o Simplex, duplex, and VFD domestic booster pumps.
o Domestic water heaters.
o Domestic water balancing.
o Drain cleaning, cable and hydro jetting.
· Installation and repair of piping systems to include:
o Cast iron.
o Copper-solder and pro-press.
o Threaded black iron piping.
o PVC and CPVC.
o PEX piping systems.
o Victaulic.
· Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system functionality.
· Annual Backflow certifications and backflow repair/replacement.
· Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to address their plumbing needs.
· Install, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing fixtures, and related equipment.
· Adhere to industry safety standards and regulations while performing all tasks.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a commercial service plumber.
· Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and components.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years of commercial plumbing service experience.
· Colorado State Journeyman Plumber License.
· High school diploma or GED.
· Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
· Related Apprenticeship training or trade school experience.

Compensation Range: Journeyman base rate at $45.48 per hour. Possible increase in base rate based on education, skills, and years of experience.
