Ovation Plumbing, Heating and Air is a Denver based Plumbing and HVAC contractor primarily performing multi-family residential projects. We are in search of a dynamic individual as an Estimator. Candidate will be responsible for estimating bid proposals to general contractors and owners.
Duties and Responsibilites:
- Preparing and managing bids for multi-family residential projects (typically 100-500 units).
- Take-offs and estimation of equipment, labor and materials.
- Experience in obtaining and evaluating material, equipment and subcontractor quotes.
- Writing proposals/bids.
- Managing multiple bids simultaneously and evaluating changes through the bid process.
- Pre-construction experience a huge plus.
Education and Experience
- Estimator experience on multi-family residential projects.
- Experience managing multiple bids through the entire bid process.
- A strong background in HVAC, piping, ductwork.
- Highly skilled in reading and understanding drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Ability to accurately compile a summary of materials, equipment, and labor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
