Job Purpose
Boston Property Services Division, Property & Custom Project Management: The purpose of this role is to deliver exceptional service to luxury residential clients. High level interpersonal skills are required for internal and external communication. Utilization of building knowledge to renovate and maintain custom homes. Facilitate growth of the Boston client base by leveraging a network of subcontractors, suppliers and industry professionals.

Responsibilities Summary
· The Manager’s role is one of leadership, negotiation, and facilitation.
· Depending on the project, property and challenges the manager may be responsible for various scopes of work including: Diagnosis and resolution of complex building issues, design/build renovations and repairs.
· Management & Reporting of project financials.
· Estimation of residential construction work, primarily renovations and multi-faceted repairs.
· Daily client and design professional interaction.
· High level communication with internal office staff and field staff.
· Oversite and direction of residential luxury construction.

· This role will work under the direct guidance of a department’s senior and executive management

· Conduct & monitor preventative maintenance on trades and systems.
· Strong technical skills when identifying and diagnosing client reported issues.

· Strong adherence to ethical standards including, but not limited to, the ability to maintain confidentiality and maintain fiduciary responsibility.
· Capable of dealing with ambiguity and tight work oversight.
Relationship Management: Develop critical relationships.
· Build and strengthen rapport with clients at an appropriate level while reinforcing Sea-Dar’s commitment to continuously addressing their needs and interests.
· Work collaboratively with outside parties (I.e. the design team, etc.) to accomplish client goals.
· Demonstrate effective relationship building within the project team and throughout Sea-Dar. Keep team members informed and active in decision-making.
· Promote positive subcontractor relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all subcontractors and vendors instilling this philosophy in project team at all times.
Required Technical Knowledge, Experience & Physical Demands
o Technical Knowledge & Experience – These are preferred but not required.
o A Bachelor's degree in a construction related field AND/OR
o Ten or more years of construction and maintenance experience.
o Strong computer and mobile application knowledge.
- Direct experience using Microsoft office, excel and word.
- Experience with construction related software and applications preferable.
o Basic ability to read and interpret construction documents. Plans, safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals and procedure manuals.
o A current Construction Supervisor’s license is preferable.
o Knowledge of safety guidelines and practices (30-hour OSHA requirement)
o Valid driver’s license.
