Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within the budget for a homeowner's association of 275 owners. This includes managing resources and coordinating the efforts of staff and third-party contractors to deliver projects according to plan. The General Manager will also define objectives, oversee quality control, and provide progress updates to the Board of Directors and owners.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation in collaboration with the Board of directors.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Work closely with the Board of directors to establish project goals, milestones, and deliverables.
Project Execution & Monitoring:
- Manage and monitor project progress, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Track project performance and prepare regular status reports for the Board of directors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between project teams and Board of directors.
- Facilitate project meetings, provide regular updates, and address any project-related inquiries.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management and the project management lifecycle
- Strong skills in project scheduling, budgeting, and scope management
- Excellent negotiation and time management abilities
- Knowledge of change management and team management practices
