Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations.
- Diagnose automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Utilize power tools effectively and safely in the repair process.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to understand vehicle systems and components.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Provide accurate auto estimating for repairs needed based on diagnostics performed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other technicians and service staff to ensure efficient workflow.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair techniques, particularly for GM vehicles.
- Experience with diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of powertrain systems and components.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
