The sales group is seeking a National Sales Manager Resins to join the team in Madison Heights, Michigan. This role will be responsible for implementing the Resins Sales Plans at the customer level throughout the industry to guarantee present and future business, guard our base profit structure and find new opportunity for growth in those market segments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, and implement business plan and sales strategy for Resins and PEPP plank that ensures attainment of JSP’s sales goals and profitability.
- Prepare action plans for each molding customer that targets their individual needs for materials, performance, technical service support, logistics, and price.
- Maintain accurate records on all pricing, contracts, sales, and activity. Create and conduct product presentations. Coordinate a minimum of two molding customers visits per year.
- Review Acoustical Surfaces (ASI) business and action plans to assure that they meet the needs of JSP’s budgets.
- Communicate sales forecast and inventory demands to manufacturing so that adequate material is produced and inventory is turned as required. Develop an action plan that addresses ASI’s needs for materials, performance, technical service support, logistics, and price. Maintain accurate records on all pricing, contracts, sales, and activity.
- Direct activities of Customer Service Representatives in both Detroit, Jackson, and Tullahoma with regard to timeliness of customer shipments, accuracy of shipments, cost of logistics, and customer satisfaction and or complaints. Assist in generating/supporting their relationship with their customers.
- Coordinate with JSP Parts Sales as necessary to control RFQ’s to molder customers that are best able to support the work based on capacity, capability, and geography. Coordinate with JSP’s New Product Engineering group as necessary to provide market information, visibility, and support.
Requirements:
BS/BA in business administration, marketing, or sales, or a degree related to JSP’s business interests, such as engineering, operations management, or packaging design.
- 10+ years’ experience in business, marketing, a sales role or in business market development
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of a Standard Business model
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate both written and verbally with both internal and external customers
