Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of industry maintenance and facilities management. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that all systems are functioning efficiently and safely, while also managing projects and leading a team of maintenance staff.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Manage maintenance schedules and construction schedules to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Lead and mentor the maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Develop, implement and execute preventative maintenance systems.
- Coordinate facility projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Seek, evaluate and select comparative project proposals to value engineer cost leading to project start and completion.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to absorb a high volume of tasks consistently.
- Familiarity with electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems schematics is highly desirable.
- Experience in project management, demonstrating the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Google Docs for tracking maintenance tasks and inventory management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they arise.

Pay: $64,900.00 - $79,400.00 per year
