Company Overview:
We are a leading provider of meal delivery equipment designed to transport complete meals from a central kitchen to multiple areas. Our primary markets are corrections and healthcare. We are seeking a Territory Sales Representative to present our equipment as the best solution to customer targets in Texas and the surrounding states.
Job Description:
You will not be “selling” anything. You will be solving customers’ problems and getting paid for it. Expect to earn $120k if you are adequate and $240k+ if you are good but don’t expect to stick around if you are just adequate. The best thing about this job is that you will be representing the actual best solution that is available. To succeed, you need to identify customers in your territory with the proper pain point and the timing and budget to deal with it. Then do a terrific job of presenting our technology as the right solution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a sales plan to identify and target potential customers within the assigned territory.
- Know how to get to the decision makers for a conversation.
- Ask the right questions and listen well to identify pain points and timing
- Secure appointments with decision-makers at healthcare and correctional facilities to present and demonstrate our meal delivery equipment.
- Maintain and create customer/prospect records and interactions within a CRM.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Experience in some or all of these 3 things highly preferred: B2B outside sales, Capital equipment sales and/or Food service industry sales, especially in healthcare or corrections
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with the healthcare or correctional facility industries is a plus
- Willingness to travel, including some overnight stays.
