Position Overview
As a Solar Sales Representative you’ll spearhead our mission by generating leads through engaging customers at kiosks in home improvement stores and canvassing in your community. Your focus will be on educating homeowners about the benefits of going solar, building relationships, crafting custom solar solutions, and driving sales. Experienced representatives will have opportunities to advance into closing sales and managing customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Engage in proactive conversations with potential customers at kiosks and through canvassing to identify and convert new leads for solar installations.
- Customer Education: Use your charisma to inform and excite potential customers about the benefits of solar energy.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team to ensure a seamless experience from appointment setting to sale and installation, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed about the latest trends, incentives, and advancements in solar technology.
Qualifications
- Sales or Customer Service Expertise: Experience in field marketing, canvassing, and direct-to-customer sales is strongly preferred; however, customer-facing experience & a positive attitude are welcomed! We'll provide training.
- Effective Communication: Strong ability to build rapport, present solutions, and convert interest into appointments.
- Self-Motivated: Independent and driven, with a track record of achieving and surpassing targets.
- Solar Experience: Preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is highly valued.
- Transportation: A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are essential.
- Spanish Fluency preferred!
