Bell Mechanical is looking for an HVAC Technician/Installer (Construction) to join our team. We are growing fast and looking for leaders to take our company to the next level!
Pay: $22-$25/hr, depending on experience
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM plus overtime available

Job Summary:
As a Construction HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining HVAC systems in construction projects to ensure that they meet specifications and provide comfort and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems in newly constructed buildings and structures, including ductwork, air handlers, condensing units, and control systems, according to blueprints and design specifications
- Perform equipment start-up and testing to ensure proper functioning and adherence to project requirements
- Conduct routine maintenance and repair work on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance during and after construction
- Replace and repair faulty or worn-out parts and components such as compressors, motors, fans, coils, and thermostats
- Commission newly installed HVAC systems, including calibrating controls, balancing airflow, and conducting performance tests
- Handle, recover, and dispose of refrigerants in accordance with environmental regulations and safety standards
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex HVAC system issues using advanced tool and equipment
- Maintain detailed records of service and maintenance work, including parts used and work performed
- Provide professional and responsive customer service, communicate effectively with contractors and project managers, and address questions or concerns regarding HVAC systems
- Adhere to all safety protocols, industry standards, and project-specific safety requirements, ensuring a safe work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- HVAC certification or relevant technical training is preferred
- 2+ years of experience as an HVAC service technician in the construction industry
- Strong HVAC systems, components, and controls
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations
Additional Information:
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
