Bud Griffin Customer Support is the South Texas representative of Vertiv / Liebert Corporation. Bud Griffin Customer Support (BG/CS) has been providing quality Data Center Infrastructure Management and Support for over 50 years in the Greater Houston area. Our service company is expanding, and we are looking to hire qualified service technicians who have a sense of ownership and take pride in their work.
Job Description
As part of the BG/CS service team you will be expected to perform routine maintenance, service diagnosis and repair on Vertiv / Liebert critical room air conditioning equipment, as well as other manufacturers.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- PM, Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and Repair HVAC Systems.
- Install compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, TXVs, control panels, etc
- Complete work in a timely, neat, and professional manner
- Maintain an emergency parts inventory and tools on your work vehicle
- Must have a professional attitude and appearance when interacting with customers
- Communicate effectively with customers as well as service team.
Minimum Requirements
- Five years of commercial HVAC experience. (Vertiv / Liebert experience is a plus)
- EPA certification.
- Willingness to learn and work as a team with other service technicians.
- Mandatory to follow all customer site requirements.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and organized.
- Must be presentable professional appearance.
- Must be physically capable to climb a ladder, carry tools, and lift upwards of 75 pounds.
- Must pass drug screen, background check, and possess a valid driver license with a good driving record.
