Maxus Properties is seeking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician for Commerce Tower Apartments in Kansas City, Missouri. Maxus Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the overall maintenance of our communities.

DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include:
- Track and complete service requests on occupied and vacant apartments, office/clubhouse, and amenities.
- Perform timely repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, lighting, etc.
- Prepare apartments for tour/following residents move in by conducting lock changes, move-out inspections, trash out, punch out, and scheduling vendors where necessary.
- Assist with semi-annual property inspections, fire safety, pest control, etc.
- Assist with controlling and reporting stock and inventory.
- Safely use and perform periodic maintenance of tools and equipment (hammer, drill, saw, gauges, etc).
- Complete any additional projects as requested under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- A current driver’s license is required
- Two year of facility or property maintenance experience is required
- Experience with a high rise property is preferred but not required
- HVAC certification is required
- CPO certification is preferred
- Familiarity with Fair Housing and commitment to abiding by all Fair Housing regulations is required.
- Candidates must receive a passing score on the Maxus maintenance exam.
