Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role involves ensuring the optimal functioning of our residential properties through regular maintenance, repairs, and improvements. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for both staff and customers.
The primary objective of the Maintenance Technician is to ensure the overall maintenance and functionality of properties under management. This role is crucial in maintaining properties' physical integrity, promptly addressing maintenance issues, and ensuring tenant satisfaction through efficient and effective service.
The Maintenance Technician performs various maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, painting, and HVAC system maintenance. This role involves routine inspections, emergency repairs, and the execution of preventative maintenance programs. The Maintenance Technician works closely with the internal team, residents, and vendors to ensure the properties are well-maintained and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise.
- Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Collaborate with team members to complete larger projects that require leadership and coordination.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on various systems to minimize downtime.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various types of equipment and residential systems.
- Familiarity with Appfolio and/or CompanyCam and/or Dispatch.Me is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service roles is beneficial for effective communication with clients.
- Leadership skills are desirable for guiding team efforts during maintenance projects.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and initiative.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.75 - $35.00 per hour
