Iron Horse Companies, LLC, a leading name in the plumbing industry, is seeking a experienced Foreman Plumber to join our dynamic team. This position is tailored for individuals with extensive experience in repipe and rehabilitation projects, particularly within multi-family buildings, along with a minor focus on new construction scopes. The role requires nationwide travel, for which Iron Horse Companies, LLC will provide airfare, lodging (if necessary), and a per diem ranging from $35 to $75 per night, depending on the location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute repipe and rehabilitation plumbing tasks in multi-family buildings with precision and adherence to all safety and code requirements.
- Participate in minor new construction plumbing projects, ensuring quality and efficiency in all work performed.
- Travel nationwide as projects demand, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to varying project locations and conditions.
- Collaborate closely with project teams, including management, contractors, and other trades, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshooting, providing solutions to plumbing issues encountered during projects.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- Experience in Commercial plumbing (Hotels, Assisted-Living, Student Housing, Tenant Improved).
- Must know and understand all applicable federal, state, and local codes and be able to apply them in a practical manner on each job.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
- Work with and train/help any plumbers, helpers which may be assigned to work with you.
- Clean and clear the work area after job has been completed.
- Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations and with co-workers
- Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time and within budget.
- Attend required department meetings and company or contractor training as required.
- Exhibit professional conduct at all times, whether at the job site or driving company vehicles.
- Understanding, recognizing and complying with OSHA safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Plumber license (in any state) is a PLUS
- Proven experience in repipe and rehabilitation projects, particularly in multi-family buildings.
- Experience in minor new construction plumbing scopes.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationwide for project assignments.
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
