Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting in both commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and the ability to work with high voltage systems. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems are safe, reliable, and compliant with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and industrial environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and voltmeters to perform diagnostics and repairs on electrical components.
- Ensure compliance with NEC regulations and safety standards during all electrical work.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and handymen, to complete projects efficiently.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used for each project.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in residential electrical. Luxury/custom prefered.
- Proven experience as a commercial or industrial electrician with a strong understanding of high voltage systems.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and the ability to interpret technical documents.
- Familiarity with NEC guidelines and safety protocols related to electrical work.
- Experience using hand tools, voltmeters, and other relevant equipment effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues independently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require standing for long periods, lifting heavy materials, and working in various environmental conditions.

Pay: $28.64 - $30.20 per hour
