The Electrical Service Coordinator is responsible for the efficient scheduling and dispatching of electricians, ensuring timely and effective service delivery to clients. This role involves scheduling and emergency scheduling of electricians, managing work orders, communicating with customers, and coordinating resources to meet service demands. The Electrical Service Scheduling Coordinator will also handle administrative tasks and provide support to ensure smooth operations within the electrical service department. Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch electricians to client sites based on priority, location, and skill set.
- Adjust schedules in response to changes and emergencies, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- Coordinate service appointments for technicians based on customer requests, availability, and service requirements.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, or online portals to confirm appointments, provide service updates, and address any scheduling conflicts or changes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technicians, dispatchers, and management, to optimize scheduling efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Use our enterprise scheduling system to maintain accurate records of service appointments, including customer information, service details, and technician assignments.
- Monitor and manage service calendars and schedules to ensure timely completion of appointments and schedule follow-up services when necessary.
- Prioritize urgent service requests and emergency calls, and escalate issues as needed to ensure prompt resolution.
- Address and resolve any issues or emergencies that arise during service delivery.
- Reallocate resources and reschedule appointments as needed to meet client needs.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Proven experience in scheduling, customer service, or administrative roles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and scheduling software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Experience in the electrical or service industry is preferred but not required.
- Will provide training if needed.
Hours: 7am - 3:30 pm with overtime available on weekends
Familiarity with Microsoft Office is necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
