Primary Job Responsibilities
- Reports directly to Sr. Vice President
- Gaining engineer specifications for SRGI’s commercial products
- Covering assigned territory mechanical engineers, facility managers, housing authorities, institutions, property managers, and architects
- Building and maintaining relationships with all the above
- Conducting product training seminars and lunch & learns
- Assisting with the coordination of select trade shows and the direct coordination of targeted commercial trade shows within the territory
- Recording all calls and events through SRGI’s CRM system
- Weekly pre-planning of travels and follow up reporting of activities and knowledge gained
- Creating, tracking and closing of Opportunities in CRM
- When necessary, involve and work with our manufacturer partners and regional support personnel
- Work with local SRGI TM to coordinate project bids and field questions back to the engineer
Targeted Product Calls on Engineers / Introduce New Products
- Introduce new products to assigned mechanical engineers
- Schedule and conduct product demonstrations at customer locations
- Participate in select trade organization tradeshows to introduce new products and cultivate relationships
Reporting
- Record and report on changes, action required, and notable events related to maintaining the relationships with mechanical engineers, housing authorities, institutions, property managers, and architects through CRM.
- Manage and update scheduling of engineer calls, lunch & learns, trainings, and demonstrations using Outlook Calendar invitations
- Tracking of manufacturer job quotes using CRM
Other
- Attend meetings as required and/or assigned by Sr. Vice President
- Coordinate customer visits to SRGI training center and associated social events
- Perform other duties as required and/or assigned by Sr. Vice President
- Attend any available SRGI product training classes to gain necessary deep technical knowledge of systems, application, installation and trouble shooting.
- Participate in trade organization events (PHCC, ASHRAE, etc.) as they pertain to the Engineer and Plan / Spec market
Special Job Dimensions
- Extensive travel by vehicle within region; minimal overnight stays required
- Average 3-4 calls per day

- Knowledge of computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, PowerPoint, CRM
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
- College Degree preferred
- Driver’s License required
Salary Range
- Salary range is flexible depending on how well the candidate’s experience and skill match the job requirements.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
