The main purpose of the Building Services Supervisor II position is to fully direct the nighttime housekeeping and custodial services for all 24 buildings at the Annapolis Capital Complex.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Assigns, schedules, and monitors the job performance of the nighttime housekeeping staff. Completes bi-annual performance reviews and the onboarding process for new employees. Works with a CMMS system to track work orders and close them out in the system.
- Responsible for inspecting all of the buildings in the complex for proper standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Manages customers’ expectations and addressing tenant requests promptly and efficiently.
- Manages staff onsite when responding under emergency building conditions including snow, flooding, sewage breaks and steam leaks.
- Responsible for purchasing all housekeeping equipment and maintaining equipment inventory.
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Two years of supervisory experience in general services functions, office administration activities or in the receiving, storing, issuance, purchase or requisition of equipment, materials, and parts and supplies.

1. Candidates may substitute additional experience in general services functions, office administration activities or in the receiving, storing, issuance, purchase or requisition of equipment, materials, and parts and supplies on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer in logistics specialist classifications or administrative support specialty codes in the logistics field of work, on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

Eligible lists may be used to fill future vacancies of the same classification.
