Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong understanding of property maintenance and appliance repair, as well as the ability to work with various refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration. The HVAC Technician will ensure that all systems operate efficiently and comply with safety regulations.
Duties
- Install and maintain HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Troubleshoot and repair heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Design and build custom HVAC solutions based on client specifications.
- Weld components as necessary to complete installations or repairs.
- Provide exceptional customer service while educating clients on system maintenance.
- Collaborate with other service technicians to complete projects efficiently.
Skills
- Proficiency in property maintenance and appliance repair techniques.
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and their components.
- Ability to boil, refrigerate, and manage various HVAC processes effectively.
- Experience as a service technician with a focus on HVAC systems.
- Strong design skills for creating effective HVAC solutions tailored to client needs.
- Welding skills to fabricate or repair components as required.
- Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics in HVAC applications.

Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour
