Job Overview:
Benchmark Mechanical is a well-established commercial Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing company serving the greater Kansas City and surrounding area. We specialize in new construction and remodel projects ranging from medical facilities, educational institutions, to multifamily complexes. We have immediate opening at all levels from Superintendent, Foreman, Lead Installers, and Apprentices. At Benchmark we take great pride in our work and are looking for motivated individuals willing to join the team and grow with us.
Qualifications – All levels:
· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
· Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
· Good communication skills
· Can work well independently or with others
· Use of basic hand tools
· Work safely and follow company policies
· Attention to detail
· Meet physical demands required to perform job functions
· Punctual and reliable attendance
· Desire to learn and grow knowledge of trade
Apprentice
· Requirements above
· Will Train in trade specific functions.
Journeyman
· Requirements above
· 4+ years experience in HVAC installation
· Lead small crews to complete specific tasks
· Read plans, specifications, and other project documents
· Communicates effectively with other traces and Contractors
Team Lead
· Requirements above
· 8+ years experience in HVAC installation
· Responsible for a specific projects success
· Lead multiple crews to complete project tasks
· Read plans, specifications, and other project documents
· Timely ordering of materials
· Attend site meetings
· Communicates effectively with other trades and Contractors
· Forsee and communicate obstacles and assist with resolution
Superintendent
· Requirements above
· 12+ years experience
· Responsible for the success of multiple projects
· Lead teams across multiple projects to ensure projects are running smoothly and efficiently.
· Ensure material is being ordered timely.
· Assist in coordinating the movement and installation of large equipment
· Attend site meetings
· Assist teams with resolving job site obstacles.
· Work directly with PM and other departments to endure projects are on time and on budget.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
