Our teams continue to grow and we are seeking HVAC Installers to join our team. In this position, the Installer will be responsible for Residential HVAC construction jobs for heating and cooling systems and accessories.
We are looking for experienced Leads, as well as apprentices to train. Experienced Leads are eligible for a $4,000* Sign on Bonus. Apprentices who are interested in paid, on the job training are eligible for a $2,000* Sign on Bonus.
Starting rate of pay is dependent on skillset and experience, and may be higher or lower than range listed.
Responsibilities:
- Installation: Installing HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, ductwork, and ventilation systems, according to design specifications.
- Ductwork: Fabricating and installing ducts to distribute heated or cooled air throughout the building.
- Ventilation: Ensuring proper ventilation to maintain indoor air quality and meet building codes.
- Insulation: Installing insulation to optimize energy efficiency and reduce heat loss or gain.
- Controls: Setting up control systems to regulate temperature and airflow.
- Testing and Balancing: Conducting tests and balancing HVAC systems to ensure they operate efficiently and meet design requirements.
- Maintenance: Providing maintenance and servicing to keep HVAC systems running smoothly after construction is complete.
- Compliance: Ensuring that all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, department standards and environmental standards
Qualifications: 3+ years’ HVAC technical and trade experience - for Leads
- NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY FOR HELPERS
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Current MO or KS driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to safely lift 100+ lbs.
- Able to tolerate extreme temperatures for extended periods of time
- Ability to work at height
- Able to work overtime and weekend hours, if needed
- Able to continually push, pull, lift, grasp, hold, carry, reach, reach above the shoulders, stoop, bend at the waist, bend at the knee, kneel, bend side to side, crouch, stand on step stools or small ladders and balance.
- Work safely following company policies
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to pass drug screen, physical exam, and background check.
