Your Role & Responsibilities – CHT
This role would primarily be to provide excellence in service with a focus on customer care and maintaining a clean facility. The connection you provide as the first in-person touch point at Kuya is the most important role in the company. Personability, presence, kindness, and compassion are key in member interaction on a day-to-day basis. As a CHT member, you are expected to stay knowledgeable about Kuya’s offerings and the benefits they provide.
The following identifies current areas of need and responsibility:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm, welcoming environment for all customers, prioritizing customer needs.
- Ensure each customer feels valued and attended to, going above and beyond to exceed their expectations.
- Prioritize customer interaction and service over checklist responsibilities.
- Perform duties required on CHT shift for a minimum of 2 shifts/ week outside of requested vacation time and approved shift trades.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility, ensuring all areas are neat, sanitary, and presentable at all times.
- Checklists and logs are complete, towels are maintained, Tea & Tonic is clean, float, Opus room is reset, and is reset before any downtime at the desk.
- Accurately handle transactions using the Zenoti POS system. This includes opening and closing accounts, processing payments, finalizing check-ins, issuing receipts, and managing transfers or refunds.
- Follow established procedures for account management, ensuring all customer information is accurately recorded.
- Stay informed about Kuya products and services to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers.
- Check your Kuya email a minimum of once per shift or 3x per week.
- Check Slack regularly throughout each CHT shift.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment, communicating customer needs to fellow CHT during shift change and facility-related needs to CHT Manager.
- Follow procedures for streamlined communication through email and slack as it relates to inventory management, customer accounts, and facility needs.
- Provide tours to Kuya guests highlighting all services and offerings with patience, presence, and tailored explanation.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Make drinks for visitors, precisely following the provided recipes and protocols.
- Maintain organization of back supply room and laundry room for efficient workflow
- Meet with management/ HR lead for continued personal development and performance support 2x per quarter.
- Any additional responsibilities provided by management
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
