Job Description:
The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating the scheduling and dispatching of our fleet of trucks, and will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery and installation of commercial furniture for our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to handle a fast-paced work environment
Dispatcher Responsibilities :
- Schedule and dispatch drivers and crews to deliver and install commercial furniture to client locations.
- Monitor driver performance and coordinate with field managers to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on delivery schedules and coordinate delivery times.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and deliveries, including delivery times, locations, and any incidents or delays.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage a fleet of vehicles, including ensuring vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with other members of the operations team to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics, dispatching, or a related field.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with computer software, including dispatching and tracking systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
