Job Overview:
The role of the Project Manager – New Product Development is to work with all functional areas across the organization to align on project requirements, ensure successful completion of the Stage-Gate process, including gaining necessary approvals, and execute on project timelines. This role will own the new product development Stage-Gate process and hold all functional areas accountable for their deliverables. This role is integral to the business and works across every function within RectorSeal, both internally and externally. A successful candidate must be able to manage cross-functional teams and proficiently communicate professionally and effectively.

Responsibilities:
- I lead and manage the complete product development project process in the Product Strategy and Management team, from developing product specifications to successfully commercializing new products
- Collaborate with product management, sales, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, marketing, and finance to ideate, develop, and execute the product development process
- Manage the project deliverables, timelines, and any incurred risks. Provide status updates when necessary
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to assess implementation resources and gain necessary approvals
- Challenge assumptions and motivate teams to work purposefully and with conviction to deliver the best products for RectorSeal and our customers
- Assess and update the Stage-Gate process to execute faster and more efficiently
- Own reporting of final Stage Gate review at regular intervals post-launch
- Work with PMO (Project Management Office) to align tools and techniques for successful project implementation across the business
Required Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related degree is required
- 3+ years working in a Project Management role, with a passion for customer experience and an ability to demonstrate a proven track record of project completion.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- 10-15% domestic travel, may include overnights

- Strong communication and presentation skills to stakeholders at all levels
- Strong critical thinking and business curiosity; ability to drive insights and decisions utilizing multiple inputs and data sources

Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with Monday.com and PowerBI
Work Environment:
Office: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office environment. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This position requires computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Compensation:
RectorSeal has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing salary ranges to ensure we remain competitive. Based on your experience and market position, you are paid within the salary range. Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors.
