Job Title: Director of HVAC Product Management

Job Brief:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Technical Services to serve as the bridge between our factories and our internal team. In this pivotal role, you will evaluate and implement product reviews and improvement plans, provide technical training, and oversee the functions of technical services. A strong focus on enhancing customer service experiences and product quality is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience with electrical installation, including hardwiring HVAC systems and other general electrical tasks.
- Requires valid refrigerant license or ability to get a refrigerant license within 60 days of hire.
- Qualify and improve processes related to factory operations.
- Develop PowerPoint presentations to communicate product deficiencies and ensure factory accountability.
- Create inspection reports on factory incidents, developing and communicating Corrective Action Plans (CAP).
Product Review/Development
- Identify improvements for new and existing products.
- Review samples and collaborate with the Product Development team and factories to address findings.
- Assist in editing product manuals for the Marketing team.
Training
- Deliver technical training through in-person and virtual meetings for customers.
- Develop training materials, tech blogs/bulletins, and product videos in collaboration with the Technical Services Manager and Marketing team
3rd Party Customer Service Liaison
- Develop a knowledge base to enhance the end-user experience.
- Provide feedback to customer service agents and handle escalated customer concerns.
- Analyze customer service call data and suggest product and cost improvement strategies.
Parts Management
- Ensure essential parts are available for each product and maintain communication with factories.
- Collaborate with the Parts & Service Specialist to ensure adequate supply levels.
Qualifications:
- EPA Section 608 Technician Universal Certification
- 7-10 Years of proven experience in technical services or related field.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Excellent communication and training abilities.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
