Summary:
This position is responsible for installing and/or repairing needed electrical services to customers in their homes or businesses. They work with other team members to provide excellent customer services. The apprentice ALWAYS works under the supervision of a licensed electrician.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Strategic Work
- Assists and completes all general electrical in-home or business service calls under guidance of licensed electrician.
- Know how to establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services.
- Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.
- Understand your sales criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.
- Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
- Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business.
- Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats.
- Works with other team members to provide great customer services.
Tactical Work
- Is accurate and timely with invoices, timecards, curbside feedback, and option sheets.
- Wears proper safety equipment.
- Keeps work site clean and organized.
- Keeps truck clean, well-stocked, and organized on daily basis.
- Solves problems quickly and accurately.
- Does quality work.
- Follows all OSHA and local safety rules and regulations.
- Thoroughly cleans up work site when job is done.
- Helps other departments as needed.
- Regular, predictable on-site attendance expected.
- Follow all the instructions of the licensed electrician.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

- Proven track record in electrical techniques including electrical hardware, junction boxes and circuit breaker units, trace lines and reading wiring diagrams.

- Has basic computer, I-Pad & I-Phone skills
- Must know the National Electrical Code.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate degree in electrical technology.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Must be able to read and write English well enough to read and prepare invoices, time sheets, and proposals.
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English to inspectors, vendors, customers, managers, and co-workers.
SKILLS and REASONING ABILITY:
- Must be able to successfully complete mathematical aptitude evaluation.
- Must be capable of applying sound business judgment to all decisions.
- Ability to find, diagnosis, & solve electrical problems.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
