Sunny Service, located in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking an Operations Manager to support HVAC sales and services and to provide overall leadership, coordination, supervision, and oversight of the performance of the company’s HVAC and Plumbing department.

- A proven financial leader who has successfully managed 10+ million in annual revenue.
- Ability to generate sales/margin growth to support Sunny Services' annual growth objectives.
- Ability to provide and maintain top-notch customer service, keep the branch aligned with operational goals, and be a strong player/coach with the ability to establish strong relationships.
Pay Range: $120,000-$150,000 (depending on experience) + Bonus opportunities – relocation assistance may be offered for this position.
The Operations Manager often acts as a client interface and problem solver. As a manager, you will exercise responsibility for developing and managing department operations within the entire company as well as guiding and instructing new and existing personnel. This individual will be responsible for overall effectiveness and profitability of the department(s). This is an opportunity to lead a team of great people toward great results. Responsibilities:
- Maintain and promote a safe working environment for all staff.
- Recommend and implement process improvements, set and meet/exceed position goals with management, to be self-motivated, and have a positive impact on customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for P&L as well as actual results versus budgeted forecast for all Operations Departments on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Oversee the scheduling of crews, technicians, apprentices, dispatchers, supervisors, and managers to ensure enough staffing to meets the needs of our clients and the business.
- Oversee the processing of timesheets, service tickets, job tickets, and any attached support documentation.
- Provide final authorization of all timesheets for Operations field and administrative staff.
- Provide the final authorization of all credit, check, and refund request for clients.
- Review all on-site Quality Control and Customer Satisfaction reports.
- Identify field technical training needs and coordinate the support programs necessary to address the need.
- Be a single point of contact for all Operations including technical support, training, coaching, mentoring
- Train, coach, and mentor all Install and Service staff on technical, administrative, and sales functions.
- Interview and Hire Crew Leads, Service Technicians, and Apprentices as needed. Address any staff performance issues in a timely manner.
- Provide annual budget forecast for all Operations Departments to the Regional Operations Manager & manager within monthly and annual forecast.
- Coordinate training and coaching with Sales & Supervisors
- Provide regular, timely, and accurate status reports to Executive Management as required.
- Provide support to the Service Manager, Field Supervisors, and Comfort Advisors on client issues to ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner.
- Interact and communicate with other departments, department managers, and company executives to ensure that departmental and company processes, procedures, and goals are being maintained.
