Job Overview:
Innovative Comfort Solutions (ICS) is seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Project Team Lead/Project Manager to join our expanding team. This leadership role is critical to the successful delivery of HVAC projects, ensuring that installations, maintenance, and servicing are carried out efficiently, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in HVAC systems, and exceptional project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HVAC project teams in the planning, scheduling, and execution of residential and commercial HVAC installation and maintenance projects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Conduct regular project meetings with internal teams and clients to provide updates and address potential challenges.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for procurement of equipment and materials.
- Oversee the performance of HVAC technicians and provide technical guidance as necessary.
- Develop project budgets, timelines, and scope of work documentation.
- Perform quality assurance checks and ensure all installations meet the required standards.
- Prepare and submit reports on project status, costs, and risks to upper management.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC project management or as a team lead in a construction or HVAC-related field.
- Proven experience managing large HVAC projects, including residential and commercial.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore, etc.).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- EPA and OSHA certifications preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
