Facility Operations:
Job Overview: The Building Maintenace Manager ensures the efficient operation and maintenance of the building or facility. This role involves managing staff, coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and addressing tenant or occupant needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the building, including maintenance, security, and cleanliness.
- Ensure building systems are properly maintained and functioning.
Tenant Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and occupants.
- Address and resolve tenant complaints and issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare onboarding for new tenants and employees re: equipment and furnishings.
Financial Management:
- Manage the building’s expenses, including expenses for repairs, maintenance, and utilities.
- Implement cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure the building complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Implement and manage emergency response plans and procedures.
Vendor Management:
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized services.
- Review and negotiate contracts and service agreements.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure quality of service.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and tenant requests.
- Download videos from outside agencies onto the firm’s server in a timely manner.
Project Management:
- Oversee space planning and construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Assist in the planning and execution of projects, both professional and personal.
- Track progress, manage deadlines, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Cross reference bills to ensure proper billing.
Marketing:
- Assist in filming and producing social media content, brainstorming content ideas.
- Deliver local grassroots marketing materials.
- Prepare, stage and execute marketing photoshoots with talent and photographer.
Executive Assistant Duties
- Identify opportunities to improve the owner's day-to-day experience, including suggesting and implementing lifestyle enhancements that contribute to well-being and productivity.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in building management or facilities management.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies and work under pressure.
- Proficient in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) and capable of learning new software quickly.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Discreet and able to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Technology knowledge a definite plus
Work Environment:
- Office and on-site presence required.
- May require occasional evening or weekend work.
- Some physical activity involved, including inspecting building facilities and supervising staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $56,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
