Overview
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various electrical systems and a strong understanding of industrial electrical work.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
- Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices like ohmmeters and voltmeters
- Read technical diagrams and blueprints to determine wiring layouts
- Perform general electrical maintenance of industrial equipment
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Collaborate with construction teams to install new systems
Qualifications
- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program
- Journeyman/Journeywoman or Journeyperson Electrician license required
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, power tools, and industrial control systems
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and logic controllers
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31.12 - $35.00 per hour
