Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will assist in various electrical installations, maintenance, and repair tasks, contributing to both residential and industrial projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively, including ohmmeters for testing electrical circuits.
- Support low voltage wiring installations and troubleshoot electrical issues under supervision.
- Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of electrical systems and practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
Experience
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts and terminology is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and low voltage systems is advantageous.
- Experience reading schematics and blueprints is a plus.
- Previous exposure to industrial electrician environments or related fields will be beneficial but not required.
- A strong willingness to learn and develop skills in the electrical trade is essential.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
