Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated & eager Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers, assisting with various plumbing tasks & learning the trade. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment while contributing to essential plumbing projects.
Duties
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, & repair of plumbing systems in residential & commercial settings.
- Help with pipe threading, assembling, & maintaining plumbing fixtures & systems.
- Participate in plumbing activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations & standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues & provide effective solutions.
- Maintain tools & equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are ready for use on job sites.
- Keep the vehicle clean & stocked with parts.
- Strive to anticipate the next step in any given situation which improves efficiency.
Requirements
- A strong willingness to learn & develop skills in plumbing & related fields such as HVAC.
- Previous experience or knowledge in anything mechanical is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively with others in a team setting, including understanding safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy materials & stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills & a positive attitude toward learning from experienced professionals.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine desire to help customers.
- Honesty in all aspects of this job, with team members, customers & the office staff.
