Job Description
Drain Tech is seeking hard working individuals to join our team of service technicians. We are a small but growing drain cleaning and inspection company located in Layton, UT. We treat our employees like family.
This position is responsible for completing drain cleaning and inspection services for residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate isn't afraid of hard work, enjoys solving problems, takes pride in their work product, and appreciates a changing work environment. Prior plumbing and/or service technician experience is not required. We will train the right individual.
Unlike some of our competitors, we provide all equipment you will need free of charge. We take pride in providing you the best tools from the best brands, including Spartan cable machines, US Jetter hydro jetters, and Ridgid cameras.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to read and write English well enough to read and prepare invoices time sheets and proposals
- Must be capable of applying sound business judgment to all decisions
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment MVR, criminal background check and have acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment physical
- Must be able to use mobile devices (e.g., cell phone, tablet) to access company systems, follow GPS navigation apps, and communicate with employees and customers
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
Workweek:
- Typical workweek is Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with a rotating schedule for nights and weekend coverage
- After completing your training period, you will have your own company vehicle to take home at the end of every day; you will be able to travel directly to the worksite without needing to visit our Layton office unless you need to pick up tools or parts
