What we need:
We are looking for an electrician to join our team in Utah. This position is responsible for installing, startup and commissioning HVAC temperature control systems and controls for SCADA systems. This position will support customers and designers to lay out, plan and execute the installation of devices required for these systems including but not limited to control panels, sensors, meters, variable frequency drives, starters, relays, switches, control panels, communications equipment and other as required. This position will also be responsible for performing startup and commissioning the installed systems to meet project requirements. Some occasional travel may be required.
Your Responsibilities:
- Execute startup and commission the installed systems to meet project requirements.
- Mounts panels, runs conduit, and pulls wire based on the scope of the project according to Company standards, Project specifications, and all applicable codes.
- Terminate panel based on the drawing demands of the project.
- Develops or modifies electronic devices, circuits, or systems according to specifications.
- Collaborate with Automation Engineer to modify electronic devices, circuits, and/or systems according to specifications.
- Read, interpret and terminate wiring according to the blueprints and diagrams.

- Licensed Journeyman Electrician
- Experience: 2 years installing and commissioning control systems is preferred
- Capable of installing wiring systems including EMT, raceways, and control wiring for same
- Safely operate power tools, personnel lifts and other equipment as needed
- Ability to plan work, provision materials, and meet project schedules
- Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative in completing assigned work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to direct, coach, and train associates as well as plan, monitor and schedule work.
- Must be a proactive, self-motivated individual with the ability to coach associates and be a role model.
