Open to working out of our Troy, Saginaw, or Grand Rapids locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review plans and specifications
- Generate detailed and accurate submittals utilizing manufacturers’ selection software
- Actively monitor and handle the Project Management email account
- Release equipment in a timely manner while adhering to project timelines and MAP policies
- Utilize on-screen takeoff software for submittal and room schedule creation
- Follow MAP Project Management standards including: submittal master templates, cover sheets and lead time schedules, saving all documents in RepEdge
- Participate in web-based, local, and manufacturer training programs
- Learn and stay up to date with HVAC product applications and advancements
- Collaborate and coordinate with other MAP project managers
- Provide constructive feedback to estimators regarding lessons learned and estimating errors
- Communicate regularly with MAP customers, especially contractor PM departments
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
- Previous project management experience, HVAC industry preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment and systems
- Demonstrate technical aptitude, a proactive and positive mindset, effective time management skills and excellent communication skills
- Build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to continuous improvement and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload while meeting deadlines
- Adaptable to a dynamic environment with constantly changing construction schedules, design changes, and due dates
