Job Summary:
We are seeking a Hands-On Plumbing Field Operations Manager to join our team in Mount Clemens, Michigan. This is not your typical desk job – we’re looking for someone ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into both management and fieldwork. You'll spend part of your day organizing and scheduling service work for a team of 3-6 technicians, and the rest performing hands-on plumbing service calls.

Responsibilities:
- Crew Leadership: Manage and schedule daily service work for a team of 3-6 plumbing technicians, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
- Hands-On Plumbing: Perform your own service calls in the afternoon to support the company’s bottom line and stay connected to the work.
- Project Management: Oversee ongoing projects, coordinate subcontractors as needed, and ensure materials are ordered and available.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with completed work.
- Team Support: Be the go-to person for technicians in the field, offering problem-solving and guidance as needed.
- Organizational Tasks: Track and maintain inventory, request estimates, and provide job details to management for quoting.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on plumbing experience (Journeyman license preferred but not required).
- A mix of field and leadership experience, including scheduling or crew management.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both customers and team members.
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to self-schedule and prioritize tasks.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Wage: $30 - $38/hour (depending on skills and experience).

- Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
- Occasional weekend availability for emergencies.
