Pre-Apprentice Classes: HVAC, Plumbing, Electric, Carpentry and More
Change your life, Build a Career in the Trades!
If you're having a hard time finding employment in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and more, The Master's Apprentice can help you!
The Master's Apprentice is a faith-based non-profit working to improve lives by building a bridge to careers in the skilled trades. Our school teaches soft skills and professional development, provides field exposure and employer connections for career placement in the trade of your choice.
We want to help improve your life with our 6-week pre-apprenticeship program! We teach classes like Construction Math, Career Prep, Financial Literacy and Work Ethics along with a hands-on woodshop and other labs to prepare you for a career. Classes start January 13th with a hiring date of late February by one of our company partners, the largest commercial contractors in Denver. The average wage is $19-21 hourly and companies will pay for your licensed apprenticeship.
The pre-apprenticeship program is TUITION-FREE and provides a weekly stipend while attending. We also provide financial aid for student who are unable to afford the time off to take our class. Learn more about our financial assistance at themastersapprentice.org/financial-assistance/.
The 6-week course runs 1/13 - 2/21, Monday-Friday, 8am-3:30pm. MAP’s goal is to get you hired by one of MAP’s Construction Company Partners, and to enroll you in an apprenticeship paid by the same employer company.
MAP students regularly receive multiple offers from top level commercial construction companies upon graduation.
Minimum qualifications required are a GED or diploma (or enrollment in classes for a GED), driver's license and vehicle (or plan to obtain one) and a strong desire to begin a career in the trades! No experience is needed, second chance candidates are welcome! We help young adults from all backgrounds begin a well-paying career in the trades.
We have 12 seats left for our next class, and the deadline to apply is 1/8!
